Long Lake Ice Condition

I'm thinking about taking the family to long Lake this weekend and was wondering what the ice was like because of the recent mild weather. Has anyone been out there in the last week or so, how's the ice?

Dude it will take another month of weather like this to make a dent on the lakes around and north of Edmonton. I'd be more worried about the amount of snow on the lake rather than the ice itself.

I was wondering the same but more how much water on the ice with the snow melt as they have more snow there.

I was out at crooked lake by Athabasca yesterday and there is lots of ice (20+ inches). It was easy to get around. Unfortunately the fish were not cooperating.
