Default Chain lakes

Any one been around Chain west of Nanton? How is the water level and can we launch a boat yet?

Satellite photo from the 15th looks like quite a bit of ice still. Could be wrong though.

Yesterday there was still ice on the lake.

The wind moved it where the boat launches are.

The shores are open water and the ice can be on either side depending on the wind.

I open water fished from shore. I can't tell you if the water level is high enough to launch a boat but it doesn't seems to have changed from when it was frozen if that helps.

Pine coulee is open and open water and I saw this litwin guy in his boat on the lake.
