If you dont have a boat, what is the best lake around Edmonton (150 km range) for pike and walleye?

My vote is Pigeon.

Coal lake south of beaumont has great pike fishing, went there 3 weeks ago on a thursday night and caught 10 from shore in 45 min.

Where did u fish? north or south? thanks.

I fished there few times this year and found the water is way too low and weeds are getting bad.
