Default Wilderness carry

Can anyone who has been through the process of getting a wilderness carry for a pistol on their trap line share any experience with the questionnaire, specifically the wcb question and the “letter from your residential municipality exempting you and your business activity from the requirement of a business licence along with a description of your work duties”

How does a guy tackle these requirements.

May be worth your while to listen to one of Silvercore's Podcast, this particular podcast covers Wilderness Authorization to Carry.

Some of the information presented may be helpful.

It’s ridiculous that a licensed individual can’t even carry in the bush to protect themselves in the first place.

I agree, there’s so many people who should be allowed to carry, back country archers come to mind, do you know how long it takes to knock and draw a bow, it’s longer than it takes animals to run you down.

Waste of time for trappers in my opinion. I let mine laps when I was told that when I was on a snowmobile or a quad my pistol had to be in a lock box with a trigger lock attached.

Default Atc

Had ATC for trapline for years. Yes it is a few hoops to jump through but better having in holster when on line. Also you can still buy/sell or trade handguns with your ATC.
