Mine is 2003 and still going great and I bought it in 2012. There are still quite a few around and you see them around that age for sale pretty often. Only paid 2500 for it in 2012 so it owes me nothing. Lived in Edmonton when I bought it, buddy and I got tired of the inconsistent ice around there and both bought sleds mostly for ice fishing at that time.

Congrats! Now I have another reason to come visit on the ice. I'm at Gull this weekend but should be around on the 21st if you are.

I have a smaller otter sled for coyote hunting and used to use for ice fishing and a larger otter sled for deer, moose, elk hunting. Pic of the smaller one

Nothing beats this in my humble opinion:
https://koendersmfg.com/shop/snow-tracker-ii/
I've had mine 20 years now. Only thing I had to do was replace a lynch pin and some rivets. Takes a beating for ever and holds 2-3 persons stuff. Also nicely keeps the snow and ice off of everything in there.

Nice unit but sometime I need to transport/pickup my sons when we are hunting. I do have a tarp for it but nice to have it open when transporting hunters.

Two pelicans sleds, I think the one is a 56 inch and the other a 70 inch.
Like having the covers on too and
If it’s just me the smaller sled goes with me.
Like having options.

There is a mush bar option for adding one or two at the back. I have also transported many a 2nd person sitting on the top of the sled. Not like I'm burning full out or anything. And, the authorities did warn about this but never had an actual issue.

You will probably have to resize your pic to a smaller size before trying to upload it. Depending where your pic is stored, if you right click on the pic should be an option to resize. Select the resize option, when option come up select Define custom dimensions. select size 640x480, sometimes the size comes up a bit different but just select the pic it resizes after selecting 640x480

I am far from a techy type fella but this Tapatalk works awesome for me right off the phone.
Download the app, keep the basic package, follow the directions and your good to go.
What’s a story without a pic.

I believe I have the same otter sled I tow behind a grand touring 900 ACE. Hauled a yearling bison out a 2 weeks ago and it worked like the cats meow! Not a great machine for lots of powder but on hard pack it did well. I’d like to get a new track with 1.5” lugs and some Pilot D2 skis for better floatation in deeper snow even though that’s not the right machine for power.

I received my Cinch straps today with the heavy duty buckles. I'm happy. The entire sled shakes when you try to move the Tote back and forth. It sure makes it convenient to be able to remove the lid without having to remove the straps.
Entire cost of Tote project as follows:
1. Tote $11.00 from Home Depot
2. Cinch Straps $12.00 Amazon
3. Two Team Ski doo decals $4.99 Amazon
4. One set of Linq brackets $30.00 Martin Power Sports.
Total cost including Tax $60.89
Not a bad deal what so ever

I have to agree. What a great deal. My dad paid $449 for his Ski doo bag. It hardly holds much but looks good. I showed my dad your post. He just stood there shaking his head saying "I should of done that. Look at all the room he has . It matches the sled and looks good and I paid a ton more than him" lol. Nice job Jawjacker

The Linq gear is real nice for how it connects and all but they are sure proud of it as seen by the price tag!

Yup, great idea, stood in the shop looking at our new toy and ventured over To the accessories....said to myself yes, yes, yes, and then a hard NO once I seen the price tags.....
A hundred bucks later and a few hours I had the skidoo kitted out the way we wanted it.
Now we gotta see some of these snowmobiles in action or are they too pretty to use

Didn't see him. There was only one skidoo and us in the entire mid-like basin. Hit if friggin hard too. Got into the 2nd battery on the auger. Drilled 50-60 holes at least. Covered many Kms of fishing grounds Did mark, did come close but no cigar.
The other guy we spoke didn't mark a thing all day...
Note, I would not advise driving over the heave at Mulhurst.
My buddy had a car and was fine. Me and my longer wheel base made for a good....loooooong... scrape.
Got off the lake by 1:30 p.m. at Grandview. Beer and a fantastic brisket sandwich at the Pigeon Lake village took the sting down a notch. Onwards to new lakes tomorrow. I.e. __ck Pigeon.
