An Bernier might just need to pack a chunk now because of that little matter of state secrets and the biker chick and her buddies that will be forever hanging over his head.

Good firearms policies - maybe.

Bad judgement, questionable character and greasy corrupt PQ politics - no doubt and no thanks.

Agreed. He has wider appeal. Leech and O'Leary marginalized too many voters and I am glad O'Leary seen this. He went one level up in my books for this move.

Default Thanks Rug

Lets see if I've got this right the best one left in the race is Bernier, and even before the vote we hear that there is some skeletons that are appearing already.

Believe it of not, the biker chick may not be a big deal in PQ, BUT in very blue Ontario it can cost some votes.

So is he our guy?

Bernier and his moll will be a hard sell for the Con spin doctors in the Legion Halls and the church basements where the core party supporters still hang out.

What an odd and totally irrelevant thing to say. Neither is my wife.

Bull Manure !

I don't hang out in either of those places, and none of the other CPC members I know, do either.

Where does your kind hang out .... in lingerie stores?

It was O'Leary's owns quote that said he could never beat Trudeau with the old CPC members that hang out in Legion Halls and Church basements.

He figured he was God's gift to Canadians and the only leadership candidate that could attract the demographic that put the Libs in the majority.

You must be existing somewhere out on the fringes with your buds if you didn't know that.

You just called El Torro Poo Poo on your own party - fella.

Obviously O Leary was wrong on so many levels. He lost, he's irrelevant. why would you think his pearls of wisdom mean anything at this point. Clutching at straws are you?

I'm sure nobody really cares who your wife is associated with except you.

Your post about Trump is beyond irrelevant.

Agreed he was wrong on a lot of things.

He wasn't wrong about the CPC being in steep decline and that it needs an infusion of new blood and people if it intents to be relevant and beat the Libs in the next election

You're denying that facts, fella..

I don't think anyone declined to vote for Trump because of his wife. Do you see it differently? LOL

Default Be nicer to Jim

He makes a good point, other than holding on to the seats that you have who can bring in young people to the party?

That will be essential to win the next election, and O'Leary was saying as much, with the present demographic shrinking you must add new people to grow the party. Who can you add and who is the best leader to do it?

Otherwise the next election will be very similar to the last.
