Default Samsung fridge icemaker issues

Any techs here? Have replaced ice maker, and water valve assembly.

Water from the spout on the door comes out very slow, probably 1/2 of normal I'd guess from other fridges. Same without the water filter so I don't think it's a filter issue.

Ice maker fingers seem to constantly spin, and eventually creates this ice dam.

Any ideas? I can send pictures if you pm me, I'll email you.

Have you tried running the water straight out of the valve behind the fridge to see if there's low flow from the waterline?

Yes, flow right from the line itself is easily twice as much if not more.

I can not help with your repair...sorry.....But in the back of your mind....!

My son is an insurance adjuster and his main primary residential water claims are;
1/ washing machine hoses
2/ dishwashers
3/ ice machine in refrigerators

Good luck with the repair.

Did you install it yourself? There's an issue with the Samsung's where the either the line from the tap to the fridge freezes up and causes a blockage. Some guys have said using a longer line helps. Other guys i have heard Samsung may offer a better type of repair. Call the shop you got it from as I know Samsung fridges are notorious for this.
