Default Spring runoff predictions

Heard the local Lethbridge Spring runoff expert figures there's little chance of flooding this year, yet this year had record snow fall down in this South West corner and it keeps piling up and hasn't even begun to melt, man there is alot of snow back there, but then again what do I know, could be interesting.

In my experience, You need plenty of rain + the run off to have flooding. The snow itself will not create a flood, Even if it is 30 above for 2 weeks straight.
