Default Loss climber found

The dome glacier,across valley from Brewsters Icefield Centre in Jasper national park.A climber was lost attempting a climb,and never found,until two brewsters employees were hikeing at the foot of the glacier.They found the climber still in tact with a backpack still on,this 24 years from the time of loss,haveing melted out of the ice.

Reminds me of this story. The CBC did a documentary on this one a few years ago. Looks like 1989 was a bad year.

Yes indeed drove the ice explorers for 12 seasons.a sad story was the japanese boy who slipped in a crack,and died before he could be rescued,another a german doctor.inexperiance was the answer.Peter the ice walk guy and his staff have taken thousands and thousands of visitors all over the glacer without an incident.

Actually more the result of bad luck,wrong place wrong time,Many have been killed in the area as a result of falling rock,avalanche,bad weather,more so than equipment failure.It goes without saying the mountaineer have indeed choose a very dangerous activity.

I was up that way a few years back on a hunt, was curious but never found anything.
