Looks like Holloway will be out a month or so with a shoulder injury.

That was a great win to build off of, and as far as I am concerned, Skinner won the game with that stellar save 1/2 way through the 3rd.

Yep, Skinner kept us in and the PP capitalized. We'll take it. We'll play better next game.

Yes the only guy that played the full 60 minutes was Skinner, the rest of the team only played about 25 minutes, but the 2 points were huge given that LV only got 1 point and the Kings lost.

I’m certain I could not do that against the kids at the local outdoor rink never mind against adults at the NHL level. It’s mind blowing what he pulls off. Having McJesus is like using a cheat code for game console.

It's OK most of the mods are Flames fans or at least they were at the beginning of the year

I read this morning that Kane is out 2-3 weeks. Speculation is cracked ribs.

Brutal. Guy can't catch a break, and we really need him in the lineup.

Yes Kane has had a tough year, they really miss him up front and we need him down the stretch

Can’t believe I’m saying this. But a win by Calgary would help out. Can they win back to back?

Oiler are killing the penguins tonight!

Well this mod doesn't watch hockey at all so any banning coming from me is probably more of a self fulfilling prophecy of the offenders own doing... Just sayin'...

Default Oilers should be ashamed of their performance tonight

They cruelly dominated the Penguins.

McDavid turned their goalie inside out on the penalty shot.

All players performed their duties too well

They scored too many goals

They didn’t let the Pens take more shots on net.

Shameful performance.

Let’s hope it keeps improving. Playoffs here we come.

We only got Kane because other teams weren’t willing to take the chance on him and he had nowhere else to go plus a bankruptcy to take care of. Kane would have played in Europe if he had to considering his personal financial mess. We were lucky on that one.

Retooling is not easy especially when the team in need is in Edmonton…
That used to be the mantra of the haters claiming nobody wants to come here. Obviously they would rather go to "work" wearing flip flops in January in southern California or Florida, who wouldn't? But the fact is most of them just want to win a cup, and when presented with a good chance at that they will buy winter boots and move north. They are tough hockey players, not sissy soccer players

Patrick Kane has been pretty vocal about wanting to come here to play, and it's not our weather that is attracting him. Besides they drive from their heated underground parkades to the cozy confines of the warm underground parkade at Rogers so it's not like they are walking to the rink.

No the flamers like Bettman points, and LV 2 points in the deal, worst case scenario for the Oil

Should do a poll on how many bettman points the flames get this year, I'm thinking 18.

Go oilers!
