Just out of curiosity, I just did a little load developing with some 150gr Nosler long range accubonds. At 100yds I had about 3/4" group (top left group on the first pic), so I stretched it out to 500yds to test the poi of my bullet with the setting my ballistic chart for my reticle that my app gave for that load. Keep in mind that I am only using a 10x scope with a hunting reticle so it's a little thick at 500yds. I had about a 12-15km crosswind, and at 100yds my scope was set at about .5 moa to the left so I left it there to shoot at 500yds since the wind was blowing from the left to right.
I stretched out to 800yds, left the scope set at .5 moa to the left and took 3 more shots. All three shots were within 1-3" to the right of the paper, and within 4.5" above and below the horizontal line of zero. I'm guessing the wind had picked up a bit by then.
Personally, with the group size and how accurate the load data matches up with my ballistic reticle, I think this load is a winner for hunting. A 150gr Nosler Long Range Accubond with a Muzzle Velocity of 3000fps should do just fine out to 500yds on anything I want to hunt.
