Default Coal and Driedmeat

New to the area and was looking for somewhere to take my 3 year old daughter to keep her entertained with some small pike. Anyone know if there is a bathymetric map of the lakes and/or any starting points just to catch a few little slough sharks.

I don't have real experience but from what I have read here. Coal is a waste of time and Driedmeat should deliver what your looking for. Others who fish these lakes will confirm. Hope your daughter catches lots wherever you go.

Check the regs. All the lakes are in there and the fish you can catch are listed.

You can also join anglers atlas for more info (anglersatlas.com)

Wizard lake would be another good choice.

Default Coal

I fished Coal a few days ago for 4 or 5 hours and picked up 15 fish. Most were 50 to 55 cm long. Did get one that was 64. Not a great lake but its close and usually I can always get a few. Have caught a few 8 lb plus fish there over the years.

Everyone I talked to has caught fish at coal this year. It’s slowly picking up again. Very few big ones like 15 plus years ago.
