The story.. have been after this deer for 2 years.. flew home from working in gp area to southern Ontario Thursday.. got to off th plane 6 pm Thursday was in a tree Friday morning 630 am with my muzzleloader on the 5th day of the 7 day season. Had a doe and small 4x4 come thru by 655 am, 7:02 he came running up the ravine at above t 100 yards,, let the smoke pole bark and down he went. My whole deer season lasted 35 minutes.

Nice deer.
Take some estimates first. I'll start at 158" B and C.

If score is important to you, get it scored. If not, don't.

Sometimes scoring animal really takes away from it...unless u want to enter an animal in the books it means nothing. I have a mule deer that would go but I won’t enter it.. it’s all about the memories for me.

It takes quite a mule deer to make the book. I would sure like to see a picture of it if you don't mind posting one.

Great buck, especially for Ontario! And 35 minutes is a solid season since the whole season only last about an hour in that neck of the woods
Edit: also, that's like 6.2 hours if you convert it to Alberta time (time spent hunting to length of the season), unless my quick math is wrong.

Nice Ontario buck. You could score it yourself. B&C website has the scoring sheets for free. There should be an antler measuring night at a local Fish and Game Club in Ontario. Then measuring can be more for fun and socializing with other hunters than for the glory. Then a person can see what other kinds of animals are taken in the area too. I guess 159 or 160 inches gross too.

if in my humbolt opinion
your getting it mounted, score it, if its going behind the garage with a bunch of other ones...leave it run and shoot a doe.
shooting a dandy deer like this is why there are no big deer around

Wait what? Shooting big deer means that the bullet goes back in time and stops them from entering the gene pool? Why crap on someone else's accomplishment.
To the op. Nice deer I'd score it
