Default Best pike flies

Headed off for some pike and am wondering what the best flies will be
I gonna have river and lake fishing I've got a small boat too

yellow and red streamers, similar to the rapala clown lure work great

I like to imitate some of the forage in the lakes I fish. So I use a ton of white and silver to imitate whitefish, but I have done alright with brighter and mellow colored flies too. Pike really aren't that picky, if you put the fly in front of the fish, they'll probably take it.

don't forget topwater. mice/poppers are alot of fun. they eat any/everything.

Bunny leeches. Black, chartreuse, yellow, red are all good. Natural (not dyed) bunny fur leeches are killer too!

Black.

Chartreuse.

Yellow/Green

White.

Oh and mice and poppers. But above all else those colors.

The best pike flies move the most water. They can feel the prey comming their way before they actually see what color it is with their lateral line so take it into consideration.
If you use synthetic materials its easier to cast because they dont hold water like rabbit strips. Dont rule out divers aswell in all of the colors mentioned and some red!
