Default im in brooks !

so im in brooks for the next 5 days and want to do some flyfishing but know nothing about the area.

I dont want anyones honeyhole but would like to catch something, anything really, not picky, wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. its a little tough, id just go to newell but i dont have a boat, so looking for something small enough to fish from shore.

North headgates of Newell and the dam of Rolling Hills Res. should be good for whites in the evenings, the fish are easily accessed from the dam, just need a bit of creative casting. Pretty much fish them like trout. Pike will be sliding deeper, but any body of water you see will have pike in it, they are all interconnected by ditches. Bow will be out due to flooding.

You will be able to see Newell and Rolling hills on google earth, just follow the roads to get there.
