Default tied up some stimmies'

So I had some time yesterday and tied up some stimulators. Not my go to fly, but I thought I'd like to try to tie some up. Typically my stimmies' are terrible. Most go from the vise to the garbage can.
I'm looking for tips on making these flies a bit better.

Thanks

Im certain you can catch fish on that one. The ones I buy usually have a bit of a cone shaped orange head and yellow body but this looks every bit as good imo.

I also think your fly will catch plenty of fish. But if your looking to try something different, try tying the norm woods special. Which is basically a stimmie using calf tail in place of elk hair, and clipping the hackle making it sit lower then your conventional stimulators. Alot of people swear by this fly during stonefly hatches.
This is my first year tying and using them, and so far have outfished my usual stimulators.
