Check the wmu you are hunting in. Antlerless elk are all draw and some areas are 3 point and some are 6 point bulls. I’m not sure but I think mule doe are all draw (antlerless). Antlered are anything over 4”. Whitetail depends on wmu some tags are good for either sex or some are just antlered.
Again check your regs and they will tell you for every wmu.

Those general elk and mule deer tags are only valid in certain zones. What wmu are you hunting in?

Since the allowable game varies by wmu, you need to read the regulations. If you Haven't hunted for a while, it would be a good idea to read all of the regulations, as they do change over time. I realize that it takes a bit of effort to take the time to read the regulations, but in order to hunt legally and responsibly, a person really does need to learn them all.

Got them for wmu 339 as we were gonna be around the Hinton Edson backroads route ...... my buddy sure messed up his communication with me ..... now looks like we're only gonna be around rimbey/ red deer as he's still working while I'm off ...... grrrr.

Ya I've leafed over the regs ..... still vague and confusing me..... and nope definatley don't wanna anything illegal .....jeez if I shot a doe without the proper tag in this country I'd prolly be nailed worse than a career home invasion criminal.

I'll f&w tomorrow and get the facts.

Thanks guys.

Your mule deer tag isn't good for any of those zones. Try the Ihunter Alberta app. It's pretty straight forward

For WMU 339...look on page 50 of the regs, did you get a draw for the mule tag?
