Tips for new fishers?
So today we did fishing for the first time, but for fun. I am new to the fishing scene and I want to try it out. Any tips, we went to Cedar lake in BC for vacationing, tried to catch trout and release it, didn't work out. Our line came out in blobs, and we tried to fly it far, but it got all tangled and twisted. Any tips for us new fishers, because I want to fish at Hermitage park in the weekend.

I mean I can't find good videos for it, I know how to tie a knot and how to rig up the bait it's just that my line keeps coming off loose.

Upgrade your line to braided line.
Way easier to cast.

Might be due to a few things:
1. Too much line on the spool
2. Too heavy pound test
3. Line twist from putting it on the spoon wrong or any other reason causing line twist.
4. Cheap line
5. The line was not spooled tightly or when you reel in you are not applying enough pressure to the line coming into the reel
6. Cheap Reel
7. Old Line
If I'm picturing what you're trying to explain these may be a cause and you can probably figure out for yourself which may be factors affecting you.
Best of luck.

Alright, thanks for the good tips guys, thing is I bought a pre made line on a stool at Canadian Tire, I know I cheated, but I am new to the fishing scene. I am also going to try out a braided line.

You get what you pay for.
If I was you I would go to a fishing store i.e. Cabela's, Bass Pro, Wholesale Sports etc. and spend somewhere between $75-$100 on a rod and reel combo.
For someone who is starting out, cheap gear will only make your experience worse. It would be much easier for a veteran angler to get by with cheap equipment because they know how to use it. Do yourself a favour!

I've fished plenty with the Canadian Tire specials without issue. I've even fished with my daughters $20 Dora fishing rod and caught plenty heheh. First thing I'd do is maybe re-spool with a half decent mono. And maybe start off by throwing a medium spoon with a bit of weight to it for the first few casts. When you reel it in it should give you the correct tension on the spool, then switch to your light trout lures. If it continues to come off in bunches then there's probably something up with your reel and I would replace it.
As others have said, if you are serious about fishing then upgrade to a decent rod and reel. It is a good investment and increases the joy of the sport by eliminating the hassle of poor equipment. Lots of sales this time of year. Good luck!

You can try to soak the spool in warm water. It can help with the coil.

Do you have any friends that fish and could show you the basics? It usually just takes a little while to get the hang of it and then you'll be set.

If it's was a rod and reel combo do like others and get good line. I like braid my self but a good mono line is good to.

Rod and reel (6-10lb mono)
Bobber
Split shot about 12-16" above hook
Single small hook

Practice? Maybe YouTube some videos on technique and how to properly use your equipment. After that, practice, trial and error.
