Default Any good fishing in/around Peace River ?

Hey guys im heading up to Peace River next week and was wondering if you guys knew of any good spots to do some fishing in the area ? I don't have a boat so will be looking to do good 'ol shore fishing.

Try a piceral rig where the heart flows into the peace. If you have time and a 4x4 you can try going down to the smokey right before it hits the Peace. There is a trout pond on Weberville Rd and one off the St. Isidore turn off. Cheers

If you don't mind driving a few kilometers you can take the secondary highway part way up the hill in West Peace River and head north. When you cross over the Whitemud River take the district road on the north bank and head east to the mouth of the Whitemud and the Peace. My brother-in-law tells me he fishes it often for Walleye and Pike. I think it's about 80 Km.from Peace River. Use this mapping resource for finding your way around.
