need one myself, never thought that would happen in Alberta, but with a long handled 9 foot rod and big sturgeon the belly can get pretty bruised! not that Im complaining!

You can get big rubber nubbins about 4 inches around that pop onto the butt of your rod. they are handy, work pretty good and dont look as gay as a belt.
