Touchwood lake

Hello, just wondering if anyone knows if the ice is off on touchwood yet. Thinking of heading there for May Long. Thanks in advance.

I'll be quadding near there today, I'll let you know. However, I can say with almost 100% confidence that unless we get a couple days of really nice weather and a day or two of wind, there will be still be ice on for May long. I was there last year on May long and the ice had just got off the lake the Wednesday before the weekend, and that was with a few windy warm days.

As I suspected, the lake is still covered in ice except for the bays. Here's a pic from the boat launch taken yesterday:

thanks kreator, i will be heading up there on thursday I think. Hopefully I can get out on the open water
