Default morrin bridge

Took the kids to morrin bridge on friday. The kids and the hubby went hiking i went fishing. When they seen how many fish i caught they took my fishing rod. My son caught a 12 inch sauger when i went to take the hook out (in 3 " of water) a 26" pike came and grabbed the sauger, ripped the hook right out of his mouth. It was crazy. Had i put my hand there i think i would have lost a finger or 2

We were there for 1.5 hrs just before dark and caught 7 sauger , 10 goldeye and a pike
Went the next day at noon and caught nothing.

Glad to hear you still have all your digits after your pike encounter!

7 sauger in a day, wow! I've been hearing that these guys aren't so common, but you're making me think this might not necessarily be the case.
