Default Who makes moose hide mitts

I'm looking to get a set of moose hide mitts made, I have the hide and I have a set of old mitts that I would like to have replicated. Who would do a quality job of doing this, thanks.

I'd check with your local Hutterite colony as to which colony does this. Who knows, they may even have someone on their colony that works with leather.

There's a group of Native Ladie's out of LaLoche Saskatchewan, don't recall their name. This is the real deal, smoked Indian Leather with nice fur trim and amazing bead work. Look on Facebook for LaLoche Buy, Sell and Trade page

Many years ago, I sent my hides to the Raley Colony Tannery. Tanned the hides and made some beautiful leather gloves - both lined and unlined. Not sure if they are still in business.

If you have the leather and a pair of mitts for the pattern, all you need is three bucks for needle and thread and a couple nights in front of the TV sewing. I made some mitts, first try turned out very serviceable.
