Tents are good for spray, just make sure to have lots of tie downs as the wind will be strong on most days. A flasher will also really help out, started using one last year and catch many more fish with it at Spray. A lot bites occur mid water column.

I figured ... When you said -20 .. But I heard that spray is very windy and told that a tent will not stand a chance , any recommendations as to what brand is best for heavy wind .

Tents are fine as long as all the points are screwed down into the ice. I've used my Eskimo 3 man in some very strong winds without any issues, the tricky part is getting the first and second ice screw in without the tent blowing away.

It's a spiderman rod. Jeez...

To find me out there you'd have to actually come out there. The more realistic fear is finding you collapsed halfway down the hill if you ever decided to come.

Original Joe - I like the Eskimo tent as well. Use all the anchors and you will be fine.
