I would rather see all outfitting/guiding become a part of srd. No lucrative business for it at all. All monetary gain goes into conservation efforts. Sustainable hunting with reasonable privileges for all resident Alberta hunters has no room for ego. If I ever have to pay for hunting access, I will never be able to afford it. I can bet other people in my position would resort to hunting anyways (which under new rules would make it poaching). Opportunity should not depend on the depth of the pocket.
What would you like Srd to do with guiding? Actually have guides on staff or..?

[QUOTE=Big Daddy Badger;2264199]Yet you manage to determine that myself and so many others are bashing landowners whether we are or not.
Seems like maybe you have a chip on your shoulder whenever these discussions come up....and that you leap to conclusions or make wrongful assumptions about intentions or how others feel about landowners.
You've done that to me more than once now and it is getting very tiring.

I was born on the farm (live in city now), but have continued to fish, hunt, and camp in that same area for almost 45 years now. The people living in that area (and I believe in most rural areas) are some of the most kind, and giving people I have ever met. I am very proud to call them my friends, and what I have on my shoulder is not a chip, but true friendship.

You have read the numerous comments on here, as have I, with many (and more all the time) members on here constantly lumping all landowners and labeling them as selfish, poachers, greedy, lazy. There are no assumptions being made by myself, most bashers are making it very clear, some even suggesting that a "movement" be started to force landowner access.

It has become an epidemic on this site, even encouraged. I have never witnessed on any of the numerous outdoor sites I frequent such tolerance for the constant attack on landowners. Most of the bashers, know nothing of a rural lifestyle or the work, dedication and cooperative nature, it took to have these areas prosper.

You seem as passionate in your thoughts and convictions as I, and I meant no dis-respect, but I find it very difficult to read lies about my family and friends and not defend them..........that will never change.
