Default nsr disappointment

was heading to beverly bridge last evening but an accident was blocking the bridge and backing traffic up for miles. decided to keep going to legends. turned into a nice evening weather wise but the fishing was slow. i cannot tell you how disappointed i was when i saw what a pig sty the place has become. iv'e defended anglers on this site before as to not being the blame for all the litter on the banks but at legends it's obvious that the mess was created by fishermen. when you consider that you don't have to walk far from your vehicle to the shore (you can fish from your vehicle), and that there are 2 garbage cans there it amazes me that people could be that lazy.

Yup, that spot is a sty. I don't mind dropping by there if I have a couple hours to burn after work, but I really try not to spend much time there anymore...it often gets very busy and there are sometimes certain groups that have no tact when it comes to fishing (will set up shop about a foot away from you) that just make it a less than stellar experience.

Don't forget the guys who come out there with their 'escorts' at night, and the several visits a day by the RCMP, who check ID's and run license plates on everybody out there every time they come by.

And on top of that, the fishing is usually only so-so.

No sausage casings, but there was a jar that appears to have held pickled eggs

actually one of the garbage bins was full of the remains and rib cage of a cow or moose. looks like even the people in charge of the litter barrels have thrown in the towel (likely on the river bank).
your right the fishing there is not great.

Default homeless

I was down at legends earlier in the spring to check out the water condition.
I saw a couple with a fire going no fishing gear in site.
I suspect that they may have taken up residence there in the car.
My cousin told me about the same unit there a while after.
I'm pretty sure there is no residential trash pick up service there......

Found a couple spines/skulls back in the bush there this spring...somebody probably pulled them out and put them in the can...
