A GREAT trip to Edmonton! First in forever.
I went to the chuck to pick up a new to me trailer today, ended up in Spruce Grove. After a very pleasant chat and deal I headed home with my trailer. Since I was going anyway I offered to bring a truck home for a friend, who in turn gave me $150 for fuel so I bought his meal. We stopped for late lunch at 02's taphouse and Grill on 50st, great service and food by the way.
Before supper I threw $20 in a VLT and pulled out $85 in 5 minutes. Being up for the first time forever I bought supper, after tip and bill I was still $25 up. After eating I put in 2 $5's and pulled out $300.00. I went back and handed the waitress another $20, which I think made her day, told her she was good luck and we were on the road.
Good day, hope everyone had a great one too!
Saved $1800 on the trailer, got $150 for fuel, got $350 out of the bandit.

"GREAT TRIP" and "EDMONTON" can't be used in the same sentence, it would be like saying "I freshened up at the outhouse at Lake MacGregor".

Funny, whine about the horrible evil VLT in here, yet I never see you 'thinking of the children' when there are countless 'drugs are ok and alcohol is never evil' threads.
Interesting what you can learn about our 'members' with a simple thread.

Glad to hear it was a good trip.
That O2's is just a few blocks away from my place, and since it opened up has become a favorite lunch stop...definitely good grub and I really enjoy the staff there.
Before it was O2's it was an Applebee's for a few years, and then some other establishment called Habit, for what seemed like just a few months...never went there til after it was O2's.
Now you've got me wondering if I should plug a couple bucks into the VLT's next time I'm in there...
