A Happy Ending for a Change!
This could have ended very badly for some child and family, but luckily the daycare worker involved was a serious Momma Bear! My daughter covered this story in PG and told me about it, I thought it was worth sharing. The video where the daycare worker tells how she had to fight this man is quite good. She deserves a big medal. And a carry permit!

Thankfully she was able to drive this person off before he could grab a kid. After she beat him good, the police came to arrest him at least. Good thing she was equipped to fight him off bare handed. If it had been a woman with no training or ability to do that, would have been sad.... Now in Texas, it might have ended a bit differently, with two rounds of critical defense in the face, but still, a happy ending.

I like hornady ammo but wouldn't use critical defense. Go with gold dot or hst👍

So this scum had a long criminal record. Got to love our justice system. More of these lowlifes need a bullet.

Yup, a long history of criminal actions and known to police, but out on the streets again. They need to keep releasing people to make room for new ones dontcha know? Especially if they are of a demographic that is 'over represented' in the prison population, as this story doesn't mention because it's not PC. Anyway, imagine how freaked out the kids must have been to be part of that??
Just read CBC coverage of story:
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/britis...ctor-1.3951205
This blows my mind:
Cpl. Craig Douglass says he likely would have done the same thing, but warned that intervening in an incident like this can be dangerous.
"He could have pulled out a knife, or another weapon and it could be a completely different investigation," said Douglass.
Kids being grabbed in front of you, but don't intervene because you might get hurt. Always with the 'wait for the police to show up and do their job, don't get involved' garbage. Imagine if that had been the case, and the kid got nabbed? But whatever you do, don't defend yourself or someone that you have in your care.....
Yes, it could have ended differently if the 'suspect' had had a knife. It would have ended differently if the day care worker had a permit to carry legally too. But, we are strongly discouraged from defending ourselves. Typical.
