Default Type of Line to Use at Spray Lakes?

Its been a while since I replace the line in my Fishing Rod that I use specifically for Lakers at Spray. Can't remember what type of line I put on my Reel.

What lb does everyone find effective?

Thanks in advance

If you plan on jigging then best to use braided. Mono has too much streach when you are down 70plus ft.

100% agree - there is no better line as far as cast ability and feel is concerned compared to a decent braided line.

A fluorocarbon leader allows your final 4-6 ft of line to be clear and invisible.

That's the ticket.

Braid, I would go with 20 lb. I prefer power pro super slick although regular power pro holds a bit better in downrigger clips if using downriggers.

Tie on a fluorocarbon leader say 15lbs.
