Default High level north fishing.

Is there any reasonable shore fishing from
High level on?
I'd like to take the kids up there but not sure if it's feasible to fish from shore

I fish the Peace a lot. It's pretty much a bait only proposition. But it can be productive, especially at this time of year.

I can't add anything else to what Bob says.

I also find it funny that you ask for help on fishing spots yet you mock someone looking for a hunting spot. Atleast the people on this thread are classy enough not to mock you....#zipperlipcreek.

But to answer his question, I caught decent rainbows from shore at a lake called Macheesis just outside of High Level. That was a long time ago, and maybe I've got the lake name wrong. Also seem to recall another lake close to town on the North side that was ok for kids. Footner lake i think?
And west of High Level at the Chinchaga river bridge, easy for kids to hook onto a pike there. Or least it used to be.

Cheers.

For the kids footner pond at the airport was always decent and machesis a ways east of town for better sized bows. How far north are you gonna go? Kakisa falls area can be great and easy to catch pike.
