The real question is how long before Jon and his sister Dany get it on?

The way they look at each other is not the way siblings usually look at each other...unless they are Lannisters.

Remember, old Ned wasn't really Jon's father. He just told everyone he was. Jon's mother was Ned's sister. Taken and raped by the Mad King, Daenerys's dad.

At this point only Brandon Stark has it figured out. He saw it all in one of his visions.

No

Danarys and John's father Rhaeger were brother and sister. Their father was the Mad King. This makes Dany John Snows aunt. It was Rhaeger not Ayris that impregnated Lyana Stark. Not sure if it was rape as Rhaeger had his marriage to the Princess of Dorne annulled and married Lyana Stark.

Do you think the Night King can listen and see through the Wight they captured and took back across the wall? If uncle Benjen Stark cant cross the wall due to being undead and magic on the wall prevents this, how are they gonna fly the Wight they captured across? Why doesn't Daenerys eyebrows match her hair? Its a hot blonde chick with 2 weird caterpillars above her eyes.

Rhaegar Targaryen is Jon's father. Danaerys and Rhaegar are siblings.

Daenerys' older brother Rhaegar - who died during a war with Robert Baratheon - secretly fathered Jon Snow with Lyanna Stark (Robs wife), who died shortly after giving birth.

That makes Daenerys the aunt of Jon Snow even though she's younger.
Jon's mom was Ned Starks sister.
Jon is the cousin of the 3 remaining Stark kids.

How are Game of Thrones' Jon Snow and Daenerys related again?
No, they're not brother and sister.

When it was revealed toward the end of Game of Thrones season six that Jon Snow is actually Lyanna Stark's son – and not her brother Ned's bastard after all – it opened a huge can of Westerosi worms.

What does it mean for Jon? What does it mean for Game of Thrones? What does it mean for Western civilisation?

But most importantly, is Jon now Daenerys' secret brother?

BIG FAT NOPE.

Allow us to help fill in some blanks.

How are Jon Snow and Dany related?

First, let's just set some ground rules here: her name is Daenerys, Dany to her friends. Her name is not "Khaleesi". Stop calling her that, unless you're Jorah Mormont or an actual Dothraki. It's a title, not a name, and it just means "Queen", or more accurately, "Leader's wife".

Daenerys Targaryen is the youngest living child of the Mad King, Aerys II. He was the last Targaryen king of Westeros (aka the seven kingdoms), stabbed in the back by his bodyguard Jaime Lannister and replaced by King Robert Baratheon (chubby guy, liked a drink, married Cersei and got gored by a boar in season one).

Still with us?

Despite being married (to Elia Martell, Prince Oberyn's sister), Rhaegar stole away Robert's beloved, Lyanna Stark, and kept her captive in the Tower Of Joy. You'll remember that as the place young Ned visited in Bran's time-travel vision. He ended up being killed by Robert in a battle on the Trident river.

Lyanna, meanwhile, gave birth to Rhaegar's son… Jon. It's not been officially revealed that Rhaegar's the father on the the show, but we do know that he took her away (willingly or not, we don't know, but as we discovered in Season 7 episode 5, 'Eastwatch', a "Prince Raggar" – who was obviously Rhaegar – had his marriage annulled and a new, secret marriage performed in Dorne. So Rhaegar married Lyanna with or without coercion.) Nine months later she has a baby at his secret hideaway. We can all put two and two together, right?

Jon's real name hasn't been revealed yet, but that's not terribly important. The point is that he's RHAEGAR and LYANNA's son. And thankt to the annulment and secret marriage, he's their legitimate son – the rightful heir to the throne.

Shortly after Jon's birth, back in the castle on the island of Dragonstone as the war of Robert's Rebellion came to an end, Daenerys' mother Rhaella gave birth to Daenerys. (And Varys smuggled her and Viserys across the sea to Pentos.)

So Daenerys is Rhaegar's baby sister. And Rhaegar is Jon's father. So…

DAENERYS IS JON'S AUNT. Even though she's younger than him.

Here are some recaps I enjoy reading after watching an episode. It is very unfortunate that the producers of the show decided to give the legions of GoT fans LESS instead of MORE. Reducing the amount of episodes, cheapening out on battle scenes, leaving entire plot lines by the wayside to save time... There is no logic to this as it would have made more sense to add time to the series, now that the proverbial s*** will really be hitting the fan plotwise, requiring more of everything. More words, more gore, more war, more story!! Have any of you read the books? Massive things they are, and George Martin is not even done Book 7! It is one of the most successful series in TV history, yet it will be over after an even shorter season of six episodes next year.

Hmmm. Interesting. We are re-watching the entire series so will have to pay more attention in Season 6, which was way too much Bran IMO.

Here is a viewpoint about the Night King as the final villain.

I think you have me mistaken for someone with ANY political ties whatsoever.

I like nor trust nor condone any of them or their actions.

Seriously incest is better than conservatives/republicans supporting their candidates???SERIOUSLY???

Very progressive attitude you have there, VERY PROGRESSIVE.

For the record the original comment was my default sarcastic response to anything game of thrones, not sure but it feels like your default reaction is full progressive, that's ok too.

Wights can come back to life across the wall. Benjen Stark is not a wight. The magic that keeps him going does not exist south of the wall.

There are many hints that Jon is the heir to the throne. It was King's Guards guarding the tower where Jon was born. The mad king was dead as well as Rhaegar and the KG should have known that. The KG were awaiting and there to protect the birth of the heir.

I have read the first 5 books and am waiting for 6 which I fear may not be done in my life time. I am actually concerned that it may not be in George RR's life as well. He is not the healthiest looking dude.

The problem I have with the tv series is in that last few seasons they have skipped over some very interesting stories and have have combine several characters. They have eliminated a story of another heir to the throne.
