Default Frost Warning

I have the air conditioner cranked as I type this. Expecting thunderstorms and heavy rain tonight and tomorrow. BC is still so hot and dry that that a lot of backcountry is closed in case of forest fires. Southern AB is still hot and dry last I heard.
Weatherman on the radio just said the forecast for the mountain parks (Banff Jasper) this weekend is calling for frost. Also predicting frost this weekend for other parts of northern and central AB.
It's been a real roller coaster this year as far as weather goes.

Well I guess the NDP government is doing a good job combating the global warming.... It is getting colder in Alberta!

They used to say the Edson was a town where you could get frost in all 12 months of the year.

It's late summer, it happens, and I love it!

Default Oh Dear

When I got to Alberta 40+ years ago, I was told "you know you've been here long enough when you have seen snow in every month" I've been here long enough! But I still don't like it!

In Stettler the combines are going full blast and the crops are getting into the bins. The stuff that is lodged (blown down by the wind) is had to pick up and some is left. There are lots of birds in the air. The weather is still fine.
