What specific Remington are you looking at buying to help you off the fence?

I was looking at a Remington 700 CDL. The other thread has some awesome posts. Lots of mention about dads or grandpas 700... Be cool to see them? Since I'm not a hater we can allow all the other Remmy's here too if someone just wants to show off a Remington haha.

Default Rem.

If you are looking, for something light and handy look at the
Remington model 7.in my opinion, a lot nicer than the 700.

Default Lets see some Remington's!

This one started as a 100 year commemorative 30-06 cdl sf.

The only other 700 I've got left is a BDL in .270 from my dad that he bought in 1973 but no pics on my phone.

The wife’s VTR in 308

Best description of this one would be a Varmint wearing an HS Precision stock with CDI bottom metal and a Ruger magazine.

I only own the middle one now.
1979 action, 23" Shilen #2 with 9" twist chambered in 280AI with McMillan Edge MR stock. Rifle Basix trigger and 3.5-10 VX-III.
Lower one is an '87 ADL/FS in 7 Rem Mag with factory installed Brown Precision stock and VX-III 4.5-14 shown with a buck I took on a pipeline in 2010.

I have a CDL Stainless Fluted and it's an amazing rifle. Mines in 7mm-08 and I don't have any complaints. I topped mine off with all silver Leupold base and rings with a silver Leupold VX2 3-9x40.

I wouldn't mind getting a Leupold CDS scope for it soon.

Not sure the age, I need to send serial number to Remington to find out. Got me interested so I will do that!!

My old Remington Rebuilt into a 6.5 x 284 with Vortex Viper HS 4 x 16 x 50mm and Talley rings. Very nice little shooter....

Replaced stock with Bell and Carlson. Couldn't bring myself to damage beautiful original wood stock in the bush.

Default My 700’s

300wm in an accuracy international chassis

308 in an accuracy international chassis

7-08 in a McMillan ultralight

And then I also have a 280ai brand new never fired since it came off the lathe, which is for sale. A 338-06 in a bell & Carlson stock, and a 22-250. I’m a fairly big believer in the Remington 700 and their ability to be customized. All my rifles carry aftermarket triggers, stocks and larger bolt knobs at a minimum and some have much more done to them.
