The rumor that I've heard is that a large number of fish died last summer, but not all. The usually stock the lakes in May if I remember correctly, so you should still be able to catch some fish.

Bull Trout? I've heard stories of monsters in there, but I think you may be wasting a lot of time if you were to target them specifically.

Yeah, I have to agree. I've fished that lake fairly often over the last 30 years and I've never seen anyone catch a bull trout. I'm sure they are there, but I've never had any luck. I did manage to catch an 8 pound brood trout that F&W release at times one year, that was a surprise! I thought that was a bull, but no luck!

Log jams and boulders are the best way target bulls and the stream mouths if that lake has one. in the alpine rivers huge log jams hold 10 20-30 inch bullys waiting for a big white streamer to go buy

beautiful lake in the shadow of table mountain. long boat ride from the launch down there. grew up fishing that lake. caught a lot of big trout on the "green" mellow. should make a run down there and check it out again sometime.
