Default Last Minute Salmon/Hallibut fishing trip in Sept.

I am asking for advice on whether or not it is worth it to try and find a last minute fishing trip off of Vancouver Island somewhere in September, most likely mid month. My questions are:

Would there be any spots availabe?

What should I expect for weather?

Any recommendations for which company to go with?

Is the fishing any good that time of year?

Any and all adivice is very much appreciated!

fishing is still real good, i would go to port refrew, the odd 40 pounder is still kicking around, but lots of big 15-20 pound coho, and lots of halibut, i would contact island outfitters, based in victoria.

I have been fishing out of Sooke with both "Spencers Sportfishing" and "Natural High" excellent guides and great fishing. Cal and Harvey can provide real entertaining trips. Just call ahead as the fishing's been very good and busy this year -Pinks running this year also.
