Default Last Fishing Trip (Pic Heavy)

These are the pictures from my last Softwater fishing trip of 2012. I didn't catch any monsters but I did have a fairly good day of fishing I didn't lose anything to otters this time at all.

First this is how I set up:

Doe a Deer....

Sox the Fox

Epic Walleye nearly broke my rod 3 hour fight...

Laziest Walleye I have ever caught I thought I had a log...

This one whom I named Bitey tasted delicious

A pike... tossed the line out there and this thing immediately went after it.

And lastly this is a salute to my F-150. It always started, always ran well, did more then I should have asked it to do. It was as close to a flawless truck as I have ever owned, and fitting to its nature even after being burned out the engine still turned over.

Looks like a great day on the water, and sorry about your truck.

Your setup reminded me of this guy, he's always good for a laugh.

Thanks was a good day fishing. And I was gonna toss bitey back but true to his name sake he bit me when I took the hook out. I have this rule when it comes to turkeys on thanksgiving first one to take a run at me, that's the one we eat.

Aww poor truck! Can't believe someone burned it. Wasn't me. I have an alibi. It involves a bag of kittens and the elderly...saying it could put me in jail. Saying that saying it was a bad idea. Nix that, it was me.

Well I know it wasn't you, we had plans at the local retirement home... Imagine our surprise when our getaway vehicle had been stolen. I swear some people have no morale's.

its actually pretty common for guys up here to build their own shack in the box of their truck for this exact purpose, put in a propane heater hang your rod out the door. I personally would just sit in my cab when I got cold and watch the tip of my rod in my mirror to see if I got a bite. Can't beat lazy fishing.

I know a guy that put clips on his windshield wipers so that he could use them as jiggers for his bait while ice fishing in -40c. He would use the slowest intermittent setting.

It worked too.
