I would like to fish Forty Mile or Chin before the season closes next week is it still safe to walk on?

Don't know about those 2, but driving by Keho lake this afternoon and looks like it might have ice for a couple more days max.

I'm on a small resivour right now. 20 mins from chin and it's got 3-4 inches. Real spongy
