Is it just me or does Talbot look like he doesn’t give a crap. Should have pulled him after the 3rd goal.

Dont worry bessie!!! If the oil got 27-0 after this game, they will have....94 points.... not even the 97 needed to make the playoffs haha

Well, according to the stats, their chances of making the playoffs with that loss went from 0% to 0.0%.

It's time he was traded away, he is becoming complacent and lazy.

I may have to develop a taste for Crown Royal at this rate, hey Bessie?

Pretty much like his teammates with the exception of Connor McMuffin...

I honestly think they should pull a Rangers and completely tear it down and rebuild around McDavid. Every other player is available, possibly with the exception of Nurse. I know I'm dreaming, but maybe consider Tavares with Baily and John Carlson.

I agree. They obviously do not want to play together despite the year they had last year.

Default I don't watch the oil very often...

The problem is goaltending right? The team seems to play well, and you have the best or close to the best player in the league on your team. You would be at the top of the league if Fleury were playing goal in YEG.

Can you get a good goalie as a UFA now? If yes I think that you will be fine.

I don't even know what to say anymore. Been a proud Oilers fan since the early eighties, Have had season tickets for the last ten years, very expensive season tickets that get more expensive every year.
We have three seats because someone always wants to come with us and it's nice to have someone else aside from just the wife and I. There have been a few times we've sold the third ticket because nobody wanted to go (we give it to them free of charge).
After the last disastrous ten seasons we've had with visible improvement and none foreseeable the wife and I have agreed to sell the rest of our tickets for this season. It's just too much to have to go downtown, pay to park, spend a fortune on snacks and drinks (thankfully neither of us drink alcohol).
The expense, disappointment, frustration and frankly the ruining of our nights has made it not worth it.
We're both still Oilers fans and always will be. We'll just be watching from home from now on. That way when we're down four goals in the first, we can change the channel to something less depressing.

There has been lots of talk about trading Draisaitle, lots of people seem to think its a terrible idea. Which I do believe if he develops properly he will be a force in this league. However, I think the Oilers are overpaying him currently and that will hurt them.

Also the media isn't talking about the incident between Nurse and Draisaitle, and if it really did happen and the guys in the room are not getting along then it should be considered. Which guy do they want more Nurse or Draisaitle?

The Oilers need to make that decision, but seems like they should be looking to move one of them.

How about a goaltending coach. Look up Dustin Schwartz on hockey DB. He's teaching pros? LMAO

I’m not saying he’s having a good year, but the entire defensive play of the team is to blame. When you have guys like benning & klefbom playing 20+ minutes a game you got a problem.

That’s part of the problem. But he lets in a lot of weak sauce goals. He’s not on it this year.

I don't have the real poop on it, but from all the variations I have heard Draisitle sleeping with Nurse's girlfriend is the most consistent and believable.
