SE corner is best in my experience, 8 fow, ice is fine for walking I would think.

I've been there a few times this year, the ice is plenty thick. I didn't have a tape measure last time but the thickness was about the same as the length of my ice scoop (~12").

I've been skunked in the SE but had some success near the middle on the east side, there is a public lot there.

Bring ice cleats.

Hi Jay!

I'm glad you finally joined, there's tonnes of good information here. So, yeah, adding to this topic, I have had good success in the SE corner during the open water season but have never ice fished. Jay has a hut that we wanted to put on the ice but the access there isn't very good. How do you put a tent up in the SE aside from driving from the launch all the way down? (which I wouldn't do unless it got colder)

Mark

Default I see lots of guys

I see lots of guys on the north side of the lake, a couple of hundred yards south of the bridge.

No idea how much luck they have but there are too many guys that fish there for everyone to be getting skunked.

Just south of the bridge my son and i caught eight in abiut an hour and a half. Nothing more than 16" but lots of them. I know there are some big boys down there but the lil suckers slam the minnows to quick. Good luck i am sure you wont be getting skunked.
