Went out to my favorite honey-hole again 2 days ago. Caught some beauties, let others go. Didn't want to keep the whole lake (like some members do ) Great to be out on the lake. The nice thing about this lake is nobody knows about it
Thanks IceProwler for leaving the tip for people to guess. You don't want to break the rules and kindly give some information about the holes, don't you. I am thinking it is north of Red Deer because it was snow covered. From the tip of land and the cabins on shore it should be Wabamun Lake. Unfortunately I am living in Calgary too far away from the lake. Good luck you guys living in Edmonton areas.
Couple nice ones there...looks like where I was yesterday...saw some like that, but they never took the bait, if it is where I was, were you the blue pick-up? I was to the NW of you....at any rate congrats on some nice Perch...
Am I the only one who senses a smug attitude with this first post? It's just missing the na na na na na na you can't fish here. We're all dying to know where you caught those 4 (mediocre at best perch). NEXT....
...................and twenty some posts later, are we any further ahead.
Gord, i wanna go laker fishing with you. northern ontario. i have my own snow machine, sled and gear. just want you to lead the way. i like your style and know you can find fish.
Nice perch in the original photos, but those flat-topped pines in the background indicate Eastern white pine, which doesn't grow west of Ontario. So my guess is... somewhere in Ontario or one of the Great Lake states.
