Default Anyone into ledgering?

This is one style of fishing I really enjoy. Just setting up a couple of rods on bite alarms and then sitting back and enjoying nature. I tried it for pike a few years back on the North Saskatchewan river and had some good success.

Works best for true bottom feeding species though.

Works best if you only use one rod. I believe it's illegal to use more than one, unless you are ice fishing.

This is also one of my favorite methods of fishing. In my younger days we in Ontario we used to fish the river all night. It was nice and cool and the walleye, catfish and rock bass were active feeders.
I don't hear of many noight fishermen here in Alberta.

One rod per angler during the open water season.
