Hi All.

Anyone here knows a shooting range around Calgary.
I just want to take my boys for some practice before they go hunting.

Thank you.

You should have done some shooting up in 326 on those bunch of trips you did there. Lots of crown land to shoot on. Not many places to shoot near Calgary. We have lots of guys from Calgary come to our Rocky local range.

Your question is valid.
But the comment included is valid.

Many Calgarians are becoming members and Range Officers At the Lethbridge Fish and Game Shooting Sports Facility. $130 membership and you get an electronic gate card to access the range if you take the Range Officer course. Some Calgarians are even considering joining for league nights like for big bore, Sporting Clays, wobble skeet and action shooting.

Sorry i cannot help you with your question.
In the the guns and ammo section a sticky lists facilities ,unfortunately it doesn't seem to answer you inquiry?

It gives you some options ,i have checked the links and made inquiries sometimes they can be informative.

Nothing is straightforward but the journey can be interesting.

You did. You started a thread on hunting 326 that must've been nuked. Calling his post weird is just a little twisted.

Well I did posted that I am going to 326 but I never been there when he commented i had been there for several times.
I called his post is weird for two reasons:
1) His comment is out of the purpose of my post so only people with some past experience might reply with a recommendation or suggestion. Of course I mean people with positive attitude and who believe in giving out help to others just for the sake of help.
2) It is no one business to tell others where they were and what they have to do.

In short, it is all about being nice to others and the way to pass messages to others even if you think they are doing really wrong actions.

Anyway, thank you.

I agree, if you don't want to offer any useful info don't respond, its not like threads are bumped off the first 3 pages in a few hours on this site. I suspect most threads stay in the first 3 pages for at least a week.

Buffalo Target Shooters Association (BTSA) is mostly set up for shooting sports like IPSC and Steel Challenge.

You did. In your thread about hunting in 326 you said you made three trips with your boys and didn't see any deer and they were getting discouraged and you wanted suggestions. Slicktricker told you you try km 17 on the North fork and you asked where that was! Maybe you forgot that part of the thread?

Not really, for many years I hunted in 316 & 416 and not 326. I was looking for any suggestions from anyone who has experience in 326.

For all you rimfire 22LR people there is a strong rumor that the Lethbridge Fish and Game - Shooting Sports Facility in Lethbridge will be opening a 300M 22LR only Range with family fun reactive targets. Check out ... https://www.facebook.com/LFGA.Range/
