Yup, by far the best mayor TO has had. Probably one of the better citizens in TO as well.

The only embarrassing thing is how the media is vilifying the guy every chance they get. So he likes to get drunk, talk in a Jamaican accen, and go out for a burger. What's wrong with that?

He isn't doing anything that most folks don't do, it is just because he is in the lime light. When good ole Ralph Klein was in power & he got drunk he would simply tell the truth & say yes & I have a problem.

Yep. I dont love the guy but TO isnt getting the tax hikes Calgary will see in the next few years. I do wonder when he will realize that as the mayor, he has no private life and everything he does gets scrutinized and thrown into the media.

I'd buy him a beer. He's a refreshing change from the usual Ontario snots.

I like the fact that he may or may not have real life problems. Makes him less robotic and down to earth. A real person with real problems doing a good job.

Turn off the news and the alleged problem goes away.
Don't be sick with him, be sick with the media that cover stories about this kind of stuff from ppl in a public position.
Write all the major tv broadcast companies and tell them you don't care.

So getting drunk in public, saying he has quite drinking when he hasn't, hanging with criminals again, smoking crack, and lying about everything until he's caught might not be a real life problem? LOL Your real life sure is different than mine Pat.

You know my biggest problem with Ford? He's a childish liar, not a man. He's a little boy who refuses to take responsibility for his decisions and actions.
I'd respect him more if he said "Yeah, I get drunk in public and then drive, and I smoke crack, and I hang out with criminals, and I'm going to keep doing all of these things. Don't like it? Vote me out." Instead he denies and denies until he's caught red-handed. It's like a 5 year old who just repeats "I didn't do it" over and over. Man up Ford.

Can't trust him. Bottom line.

Yep......the only people that should be embarrassed in all of this, is the media. Over the years they have closed in on the lowest of the low.

The hypocracy here is mind boggling....

Substitute Alison Redford for Rob Ford. Alison smoking crack, drunk in public, hanging with gang members. I can imagine all the AO posts defending her, saying it has nothing to do with her political performance. Jumping on the media for reporting it. Yeahhhhhhhh... right. LOL

Hey Okie, have you done anything to try and help him out with his issues? Or are you just part of the witch hunt?

I'm just part of the witch hunt. Now, shall we go through all the posts where you have criticized someone and you can tell us what you did to help them? Have a cup of coffee and wake up before you post things like that.

I don't think that your typical human is a crack smokin' pizz tank....even if he is functional.

As a previous poster pointed out.....he is a train wreck waiting to happen.

bottom line is.......he does a good job. Is that not what you want? would you rather have an honest person with no forsight and skills spending YOUR money? or someone that can make a positive difference in your life for the benefit of you and your family? im not to concerned about his private life. just do a good job.

He is the mayor of Toronto, anything he does or doesn't do has no bearing on me so who cares what he does his job performance means nothing either way??

I just get one heck of a laugh by watching the news reports on his antics and the realization that the 'prim and proper' crowd cannot oust him. Great entertainment.

The difference is that Down to earth Rob Ford pulled Toronto out of the hole.
Arrogant Redall pushed Alberta in the hole.

Give me Rob Ford anytime,..he got the balls Ralph klein had
