Default what is the best bait/lure for NSR walleye?

at this time of the year, what is the best for river walleye?

worm? minnow? spoon? Jigs?

Tried few times in last couple of weeks, worm didnt work.

Will try tommorrow.

Ok we use a rig , similar to a pickrell rig , which is a drop shot rig with 2 to 4 oz of weight. and use dew worms with a worm blower that way the worm floats. and moves even if dead with the moving current of water. Hope this helps.

I use spoons in the early summer and was really good.

Purple jig with a pink head tipped with a leech preferably but can use a worm or minnow. Bounch off bottom , will lose a few to snags but I have fished this river alot and there isnt a much better presentation that I have found. I dont know why it works so well but I does

went to river Saturday for a couple of hours, and as expected, nothing!
