I have a little 4 man inflatable with a motor mount, will this motor be sufficient to drive it around (obviously I won't be going extremely far). And on that note, anyone know how long it could run for on a full battery?

It would push it quite nicely a full battery should last you at least the day depending how much your going to use it..

I've personally had enough of CT's Special Sale items. I find their for sale at 50% off or whatever, for a reason. If your looking for a cheap trolling motor for an inflatable, check out the bargain finder or Kijiji. You'll find a few $100 30 lb thrust Minn Kota's, that would do you fine.

Try to get a Minn Kota 'Maxxum' if your looking for long battery life. It has variable speed, as opposed to 5 speed 'Endura'. I have a 55 lbs MK Max, with a 115 amp hour deep cycle, both from Costco, and I can troll in my 14' fiberglass most of the day for 4-5 days on one battery.

Also if your looking for long battery life, get a larger motor then you need, since electric motors are more efficient at lower speeds/demand.

Its not the cheapest investment, since you need a $100 battery, a $100 Charger on top of the cost of your motor.
