Wow. I just read this whole thread and for all your smugness and holier than thou attitude, I still have absolutely no idea what point you are trying to make!

Remington most certainly did sell the Sendero in 270win. It wasn't one of the popular chamberings, so they didn't continue to offer it in the Sendero II SF.

Everyone agrees either round can kill a moose at reasonable ranges. They are just arguing now about which kills the moose more.

No one agreed to that ...270 win all day long vs 7-08..lol unless you tell the OP and me the diff ....penetration , velocity , SD and bullet weight ..am lost here..in my experience the 270 win has outdone the 7-08 at moose camps every year all the time...have seen 12 bull moose fallen to the 270

And I said, I've never shot a moose nor pulled the trigger on a 30-06 or 7mm-08. You?

If you shot five moose with a 7mm-08, and they all ran away, the cartridge isn't the problem, the person pulling the trigger is the problem.

This thread just gave me a head ache. A question for kauna, how big of a cartridge would be needed to drive that 140 grain accubond fast enough to kill a moose with one shot? My experience with moose is that they are not overly tough animals I have seen several killed with a single from cartridges smaller than the ones in question.

You would think after loosing the first one or maybe even two moose you would have tried to fix or change something. Or just practice basic marksmanship?

You are either the World's worst shot or one of AO's biggest liars.

So 200FPS at the muzzle and 300FPE is going to make the difference between a lost animal and a killed animal?
Don't think so Bubba, try your BS elsewhere, everybody here as pretty much written you off as a troll.
