Would like to participate.

The rifle I owned in 270 was bad, fit issue.

Sold it, new owner also sold it must have been a bad combo.

Purchase a 7.08 to complement the 7 mm I still own.

Getting fragile, not old, both are good one has more power, but both work.

Cant see past 100 yards, but both are good to 300.

Is the 270 not a smaller diameter than a 7.08?

Be gentle I am challenged.

YES to an old partner .. the 7-08 .284 is bigger , 270 is . 277 ..they are really both great , but I think the 270 win with factory ammo ..wins and for comparison a 308 , 30-06 and 300 win mag is .308

It took 15 minutes to write, it shouldn't take 15 minutes to read it.

270 win ..all day long ...the 7-08 is weak at more than 150 yards on moose ..seen it ..270 , 150 grainer really penetrates and is a true shooter ...

I shot a bull moose at 250 yards with a 140gr bullet out of a 7mm-08, and it was a pass through. The bull died in short order. I guess it only works well with proper bullet placement.

Default And DONE

Well that horse was beaten to death. It is clearly evident that there is very little difference between an 7mm-08 and .270. At the end of the day each person has their preferences and that dictates what they use.

To each their own!
