Records for Winnipeg long before climate change, polar vortexes or carbon tax
Highest temperature (1938-2008)
3.3°C1947
Lowest temperature (1938-2008)
-41.1°C1941
Winters on the prairies have always been the same, the state news (CBC) is trying desperately to make into a global warming story to back up Trudeau's carbon tax.

Windchill temperatures are misleading should be changed rather than this feels like crap.
Anybody see the reporter in the US wearing goggles so her corenas wouldn't freeze

I've been told (by people in the broadcast industry) that one of the reasons they over-emphasize the cold is that there are so many new Canadians that have never experienced cold that they (the media) plays up the cold so they (new Canadians) realize it can be deadly.
I work in an area of Edmonton with a large Somali population...it's ridiculous at times...-20 and you see them walking around in a light windbreaker, no gloves and nothing on their heads.

I believe it's called natural selection.
