Front end mask for tacoma
Hello,
Thinking about getting a front end cover for my tacoma. I just had my entire front end replaced including headlights. As I drive all day for work, I was going to try and reduce the nicks and damage by rocks and whatever.
I saw this one online.

Any recommendations and where to get them in Calgary. Also, are there front end covers that also cover the headlights? I just starting researching this so all advice is appreciated.
Thanks
Feel free to PM me as well.

Don't put a bra on your Taco... This is 2018, not 1988.
Bite the bullet and have 3M paint-protection film installed.

Exactly. That bra looks like it would be a huge salt trap causing a negative effect.
3M all the way

This, as an ex bodyman, best thing out there to protect paint and headlights

Get 3M done & go to European Auto Tinting they do everything from honda civics & f150's to GTRs & lambo's. Amazing work.

My bad... 2018 / 1988 was a typo.
Should have read 2019 / 1989, my proof-reading was lacking.

X3, what they said. Those things are worse then sand paper once you get some debris caught in between paint and the cover....dont ask me how I know...!

If the bras get loose they flap and fret on there and take the paint off anyway.

Exactly. Had one on a 1980 280ZX way back when. Scuffed the paint badly. Didn't even have to be loose or flap.

Didn't think they made those anymore.
Don't miss them that's for sure.

Had my 3M applied by Auto Protectors in Calgary.
They were the most competitive pricing at the time - and were quite willing to deal (I got quite a bit of my new truck coated though, probably a contributing factor to the great deal I got).

Thanks for the replies. Really appreciate it. Never knew about the 3M. Ya, I did hear those bras can be like sand paper once they get dirt and grit under them.
I will look into the other options.
Although this comment was hilarious and I almost fell off my chair.
"Don't put a bra on your Taco... This is 2018, not 1988" Haahahahahahahaha.
Totally brought back some crazy memories from the 80's. I gotta admit, I do miss my mullet hair style from back then. It was killer. hahahahaha
Thanks again.
