Default This is why we have a rural crime problem

This story made my blood boil Why bother calling the calling the cops if you're victimized ? Hundred bucks for possession of a weapon ?

This why it’s called a ‘Legal’ system and not a justice system.

8 counts of possession of stolen property and breech of recognizance and he walks? Wonder what special circumstances allowed that withdrawal of charges. Brutal.

With $100, and $200 fines, it isn't worth calling the police , let alone trying these criminals.

So now these perverted thieves can start all over again, and someone will be hurt in the process, cause we don't have the balls to serve the justice to criminals. WAKE UP People!!!

Call...why, I live out in the country and I would phone a friend before the police...if I had those two choices, but I have a few choices, so no worries here...

I have an RCMP officer as a friend and he has told me that the Crown puts firearms charges against criminals so they can be plea bargained away to get easy guilty pleas to the other charges. That is why you rarely see firearms convictions.

Default Protection or Justice

I think if you want legal backing today you had better join the far Left! The violence of sharing an opinion that is not popular among the Left is far more dangerous no? lol

Hey guys c'mon. everyone makes mistakes and everyone deserves a second chance to turn their lives around,

They probably ran out of gas or had a flat tire and that's why they were at those places. I mean it's not like being charged with having a loose 22. shell in the ash tray of your truck. That could kill someone.

BTW who paid for the lawyers here?

If you get charged with unsafe storage, would the crown appoint a defence lawyer for you. Asking for a friend.
